The Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala is Alpha Chi Omega’s signature annual philanthropy event and a powerful expression of our commitment to raising awareness and support for survivors of domestic violence.
This event is the highlight of Lauren’s Legacy Month – Alpha Chi Omega’s month-long philanthropy campaign dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Lauren McCluskey while raising awareness about dating violence prevention and supporting survivors. Throughout the month, our sisters and community come together to educate, advocate, and fundraise in partnership with the Lauren McCluskey Foundation. From awareness initiatives and service opportunities to fundraising drives, everything leads to this culminating evening: the Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala.
This year’s gala will be especially meaningful. We are honored to welcome Jill McCluskey, mother of Lauren McCluskey and founder of the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, as our keynote speaker. Jill will share Lauren’s story and speak about the importance of prevention, advocacy, and community action in creating safer futures.
We are also privileged to have University of Utah President Taylor Randall join us to offer his remarks, further underscoring the impact and importance of this event for our community.
Together, their presence reminds us why this cause matters: to honor Lauren’s legacy, to champion prevention, and to ensure that every student and community member feels safe and supported.
Your generous donation would still make a difference.
