Transforming Campus Safety and Supporting Student Well-being
Honoring the life and spirit of Lauren McCluskey, we seek to change campus safety cultures with respect to the response to relationship violence and stalking by increasing awareness, increasing campus communities’ sense of responsibility, and providing resources to enhance the immediacy and effectiveness of responses.
Understanding the Issue
Relationship violence and stalking are some of the most pressing issues facing universities and colleges today. One third of all women report dating violence by a current or previous partner. University and college campuses are not trained to respond effectively to these problems.
Our Mission and Commitment
The Lauren McCluskey Foundation was established to honor the life and spirit of Lauren McCluskey. Our mission is to change the culture that responds poorly to relationship violence stalking on campuses. We aim to make campuses across the country safer and more supportive environments where students can thrive.
Our dedicated team is committed to advocating for these causes and implementing targeted programs to create lasting change in Lauren’s memory. By working together, we aim to transform how campuses address and respond to relationship violence on campus.
Making a Difference Through Our Programs
We strive to create a lasting impact in Lauren’s memory. Through our programs, we are dedicated to transforming the way campuses address and respond to relationship violence on campus.
