The Lauren McCluskey Foundation is honored to be the beneficiary of the Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala, hosted annually by the Beta Nu chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Utah. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and fostering safer communities through education, advocacy, and action. The Foundation is deeply grateful to Alpha Chi Omega for their continued dedication to honoring Lauren’s legacy and advancing the mission to end relationship and dating violence on college campuses.

The Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala is Alpha Chi Omega’s annual signature event and a meaningful celebration of compassion, community, and advocacy. Each year, the sisters of the Beta Nu chapter at the University of Utah unite their campus and community in support of survivors of domestic violence through this special evening of awareness and action.

The gala marks the culmination of Lauren’s Legacy Month—a month-long campaign dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Lauren McCluskey. Throughout the month, Alpha Chi Omega hosts events and initiatives focused on education, service, and fundraising to support the Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s mission of preventing dating violence and promoting campus safety.

This year’s Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala will be especially significant. Jill McCluskey, mother of Lauren and founder of the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, will serve as keynote speaker, sharing Lauren’s story and the importance of prevention, advocacy, and collective action. University of Utah President Taylor Randall will also deliver remarks, emphasizing the university’s commitment to safety and the enduring impact of this cause.

Together, their presence reminds us why this cause matters: to honor Lauren’s legacy, to champion prevention, and to ensure that every student and community member feels safe and supported. Find more information about the event and register to attend at the link below:
