Each week leading up to the races, one registered participant will be randomly selected to win a brand-new pair of Brooks Running shoes; perfect for crossing the finish line in style or enjoying your everyday miles.

Pullman Race for Campus Safety – October 4, 2025
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4, 2025, when the Pullman Race for Campus Safety takes off from the Washington State University VETMED Parking Lot. This event offers 1K, 5K, and 10K courses that wind through Washington State Universities campus and the surrounding community, giving participants a scenic and engaging route that reflects the heart of Pullman.
More than just a run, the Pullman race is a gathering place for students, families, alumni, and local residents to come together in the spirit of awareness, and support of an improved response to relationship violence and stalking. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, running in memory of someone you love, or walking side-by-side with friends, every step taken helps spread our message and drive change. The event atmosphere is electric, from the starting horn to the cheering spectators along the course, and is complemented by post-race festivities that keep the energy going. Attendees will find community booths, local partners, and interactive activities that make the event as informative as it is fun. By participating, you’re helping to support education programs, survivor resources, and advocacy efforts that push for real change.

Utah Race for Campus Safety – November 8, 2025
Just over a month later, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the we will host the Salt Lake City Race for Campus Safety at the University of Utah, starting and finishing at the McCarthey Family Track and Field. Much like its Pullman counterpart, this event offers routes for all abilities and fitness levels, welcoming runners, walkers, and families from across the community.
Participants will loop through the university’s scenic campus, experiencing both the beauty of the location and the powerful sense of unity that comes from moving together for a shared purpose. The Utah race draws a vibrant mix of students, faculty, local leaders, survivors, and advocates, creating a space for meaningful connection and conversation about the importance of campus safety. Festival activities before and after the race make the day engaging for participants and spectators alike, while resource booths provide valuable information and opportunities for involvement. Every registration supports the Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s mission to improve the response to relationship violence and stalking on college campuses. By showing up, you’re not only participating in a race, you’re sending a message that safety and accountability matter.

Brooks Running Shoe Giveaway Details
The Brooks Running giveaway is open to registrants 18 years or older who are residents of the United States. Void where prohibited by law. The giveaway runs from August 2025, to November 2025, with winners announced each week from the week of August 11 to race day on November 8th, 2025.
Winners will receive their Brooks Running shoes after November 8th, 2025 directly from Brooks Running. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries and notified via e-mail. While the giveaway is a fun incentive, the real reward is knowing that your participation directly supports programs that foster safer campuses and educate communities nationwide.
