The Lauren McCluskey Foundation was honored to participate in the Goldman Sachs Women’s Network Local Leaders Series in Salt Lake City, where Jill McCluskey joined for a meaningful conversation about campus safety, peer support, and the lasting impact of Lauren’s legacy. The event brought together employees to learn more about the Foundation’s mission and the importance of creating environments where individuals feel safe, heard, and supported.
During a fireside chat moderated by Lauren McCluskey Foundation Board Member and Goldman Sachs Senior Vice President Quintin Andrizzi, Jill McCluskey shared Lauren’s story and discussed how the Foundation’s work has grown. The conversation explored Lauren’s Promise — listening and believing those who feel threatened — as well as the role each of us can play in supporting peers, recognizing when someone may be struggling, and taking action when help is needed. Attendees also engaged in a thoughtful discussion about how students and young professionals can help foster cultures of care and accountability on their college campuses.
The event concluded with networking and resource sharing, allowing participants to continue the conversation and learn more about opportunities to get involved with the Foundation’s mission. Foundation materials, volunteer information, and campus safety resources were available throughout the networking session from Linda Mittelhammer, reinforcing the message that building safer communities requires collective action.
