The conversation focused on how the Lauren McCluskey Foundation works to improve responses to relationship violence and stalking on college campuses across the country. Jill McCluskey reflected on the progress made since 2018, noting the growing understanding among universities and communities about the urgency of supporting victims and ensuring accountability.

The interview also previewed the upcoming Race for Campus Safety at the University of Utah, taking place Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McCarthey Track and Field Complex. The event brings together students, faculty, families, and advocates to honor Lauren’s life and to raise awareness of relationship violence and stalking. Participants can take part in 1K, 5K, and 10K runs or walks, all dedicated to creating safer campuses and supporting prevention efforts nationwide.
