Virtual 5K Unites Students to Support Campus Safety

Washington State University students transformed their annual fundraising event into a Virtual 5K to benefit the Lauren McCluskey Foundation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants completed the race remotely while raising awareness and funds to support the Foundation’s mission of improving campus safety, preventing relationship violence and stalking, and honoring Lauren McCluskey’s legacy. The event demonstrated the resilience of WSU students and their commitment to creating safer college communities despite the challenges of a virtual environment.
