The Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala is Alpha Chi Omega Beta Nu Chapter’s signature annual philanthropy event, bringing together students, families, and community members to raise awareness about relationship violence and support survivors. The gala serves as the culmination of Lauren’s Legacy Month, a month-long campaign dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Lauren McCluskey through education, advocacy, community engagement, and fundraising in support of the Lauren McCluskey Foundation.
The 2026 Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala will feature Nicole Noren as its keynote speaker. Nicole is an award-winning investigative journalist and producer whose work has helped bring national attention to Lauren’s story and the importance of institutional accountability in responding to relationship violence and stalking. Through her investigative reporting, documentary filmmaking, and continued advocacy, Nicole has played an important role in amplifying Lauren’s legacy and advancing conversations about student safety. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Lauren McCluskey Foundation.
Through their continued partnership with the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, Alpha Chi Omega Beta Nu Chapter members are helping advance meaningful efforts to educate communities, support victims, and promote safer campuses. The Purple Ribbon Benefit Gala offers an opportunity for friends, families, students, and community members to come together for an evening of remembrance, advocacy, and philanthropy while supporting the Foundation’s mission to prevent relationship violence and stalking.
