The Lauren McCluskey Foundation, in partnership with WSU Campus Police, WSU Residence Life, and ASWSU, invites the campus and Pullman community to a special screening of the ESPN documentary LISTEN on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in the CUB Auditorium at Washington State University.
LISTEN follows the story of WSU student-athlete Lauren McCluskey and examines the institutional and systemic failures that lead to her tragic murder. Produced by ESPN investigative journalist Nicole Noren, the film explores issues of relationship violence, stalking, and campus response through investigative reporting and firsthand accounts, raising important questions about safety, accountability, and how institutions respond when students ask for help.
Following the screening, attendees are invited to remain for a panel discussion featuring Jill McCluskey and community leaders from across the university and public safety community. The conversation will focus on lessons learned, progress made since Lauren’s death, and the shared responsibility students, faculty, and institutions hold in creating safer campus environments.
This program contains graphic descriptions of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and gun violence. Viewer discretion is advised. The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
