The 2024 Race for Campus Safety in Salt Lake City, Utah has officially concluded, and we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this event. Together, we raised awareness and support for victims of relationship violence.
With participants of all levels in our 1k, 5k, and 10k races, the event fostered a spirit of inclusivity. Attendees enjoyed interactions with mascots Bumble the Bee and Leo the Lion, food vendors, and family friendly activities.
Your participation has made a difference in our community’s efforts to address these critical issues. Thank you for joining us in this impactful event, presented by the University of Utah, Pepsi, and Snell and Wilmer, at the McCarthey Family Track and Field. Together, we stand united and honor Lauren McCluskey’s memory while contributing to the creation of safer campus environments.
Specific date of the 2025 race in is to be determined. Register early to take advantage of the early-bird rate for 2025! In 2024, we had over 800 participants come together as a community for our race and festival supporting awareness efforts for campus safety, and we can’t wait to see you there in 2025.
