The Response is Just as Important as Prevention

The 4th annual Race for Campus Safety to honor the legacy of Lauren McCluskey will be October 8, 2022. All proceeds will benefit the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, which supports campus safety, amateur athletics, and animal welfare.

In Person

When: Saturday, October 8, 2022

Where: Pullman, WA

Race morning packet pickup: 7:30 – 8:45 AM

10K Race start: 9:00 AM

5K Race start: 9:10 AM

1K Kids’ Race start: 10:00 AM

Virtual

When: October 1 to October 8, 2022.

Where: You get to pick your run location.

Distance: 10 k Run/Walk, 5k Run/Walk, Kids 1k Fun Run.

Event Details

Each registered participant for our in-person/live race in Pullman, WA, will receive a T-shirt with their race packet during check-in or race day.  

If you are registered for the Virtual Race or not a participant in either race and would like a T-Shirt, you can purchase one on the registration site.  

We will also sell shirts at packet pickup on the 7th of October and the race on the 8th of October, but we can’t guarantee availability.

Hotel:

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites, in Pullman WA has provided a discounted rate for race participants. Please mention that you are a participant in the 4TH Annual Lauren McCluskey Race for Campus Safety to receive the discounted rate.  

After the race:

  • Have lunch at Birch & Barley! Bring your race bib and Birch & Barley will donate 20% of the lunch sale to the Foundation.
  • Tours will be offered at the Humane Society.

Donations will go to the individuals and programs supported by the Lauren McCluskey Foundation. The foundation’s operating expenses are covered by the McCluskey family.
