Pullman Spring Dinner and Auction Brings Community Together in Support of Campus Safety

On Saturday, April 6th, 2026, we hosted our spring awareness dinner and auction in Pullman, honoring Lauren’s legacy and supporting our work to improve the response to relationship violence and stalking on college campuses. The evening brought together a wide range of supporters, partners, and community members, all aligned around a shared commitment to campus safety and meaningful change.

We are deeply grateful to the Pullman community for the continued support that makes this work possible. From those who attended and contributed, to those who have supported the Foundation throughout the year, this event reflected the incredible generosity of the community. Thank you to Dean Raj Khosla and the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) for generously donating the event space, helping create an environment that allowed the evening to come together in a thoughtful and impactful way. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Palouse Balloons for providing an incredible balloon arch to the event, Michael Byrne as well as Frank Maryott with Scusi’s for catering the food, and all of the volunteers who supported the event.

The program highlighted both the progress made and the work ahead. Guests heard updates on the Foundation’s initiatives, including continued development of the Campus Safety Score and ongoing partnerships with universities and community organizations. The silent and live auctions, which together raised more than $40,000, reflected an outpouring of support. A special thank you to Linda Mittelhammer, whose incredible work organizing and building out the auction made an incredible impact on the success of the evening.

Evenings like this are a reminder that lasting change is built collectively. The conversations, engagement, and generosity throughout the night directly impacted our ability to continue to improve campus safety. Thank you again to everyone who joined us or contributed to the event.
