Remembering Lauren McCluskey: A Legacy of Excellence On and Off the Track

Lauren McCluskey, a 2015 graduate of Pullman High School and standout track and field athlete at the University of Utah, is remembered for her remarkable achievements and dedication. A state champion high jumper in high school, Lauren set records in the 100-meter hurdles and competed nationally at the USATF Outdoor Junior Championships. At Utah, she ranked among the top 10 in the pentathlon and competed in the Pac-12 Championships.

Beyond athletics, Lauren was a dedicated student, graduating with honors and earning multiple academic accolades, including Pac-12 and MPSF All-Academic honors.

Her former coach, John Willy, remembered her as a hardworking and committed athlete whose accomplishments continue to inspire.
