Lawsuit Concludes Following Settlement Agreement

Following the completion of a settlement agreement with the University of Utah, Jill and Matt McCluskey formally dismissed their federal lawsuit related to the 2018 murder of their daughter, Lauren McCluskey. The settlement included funding to support the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, which continues to advance campus safety through education, advocacy, and research. While the legal case came to a close, the Foundation’s mission remains focused on preventing relationship violence and stalking and ensuring colleges respond more effectively to students seeking help.
