Special Screening of ESPN LISTEN Documentary Sunday March 29 in Pullman

Thank you to all who joined us for the special screening of the ESPN “LISTEN” Documentary in Pullman this last Sunday.

Following the film, we hosted a panel discussion featuring Jill McCluskey and community leaders from across the local university and public safety community. The conversation focused on lessons learned, safety in the local community, progress made since Lauren’s death, and the shared responsibility students, faculty, and institutions hold in creating safer campus environments.

LISTEN follows the story of University of Utah student-athlete Lauren McCluskey and examines the institutional and systemic failures that lead to her tragic murder. Produced by ESPN investigative journalist Nicole Noren, the film explores issues of relationship violence, stalking, and campus response through investigative reporting and firsthand accounts, raising important questions about safety, accountability, and how institutions respond when students ask for help.

This event was hosted in partnership between the WSU Campus Police, WSU Residence Life, the Student Entertainment Board, and ASWSU.
