Course Description

Starting in the Fort Douglas area, this year’s race will take you through the most scenic parts of upper campus. The first section of the run will take you up into the foothills to the university’s natural history museum and around the beautiful Red Butte Gardens. The second part of the trail will be the most challenging but also the most scenic. You will run (or walk) up Red Butte Canyon amongst the late fall foliage along Red Butte Creek. Turning around in the canyon things get easier as it becomes a race downhill back to the starting line to celebrate Lauren’s Life and Legacy with family and friends.
